Traditional Thai Yoga Massage is part of an Eastern Medicine bodywork, lifestyle and healing system closely associated with Buddhism.
Like massage and bodywork in the East, Western practice is based on treatment of the human body, mind and spirit, with a heavy focus on the physical body.
At UnThai'd we leave our religious and philosophical beliefs at the door and bring our skills to the mat using hands, elbows, knees and feet to alleviate or prevent physical pain and tension
Specific combination of modalities used: Compression, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Active Release Techniques, Stretching and Tapotement.
Results may vary, but the goal is to increase range of motion in all joints, increase flexibility and unblock musculoskeletal restrictions that lead to poor posture and overall mental and physical discomfort.
Minimal oil or cream is used. Work is done on a table or on the floor on a comfortable mat.
Because any form of bodywork can be a compliment to a health conscious lifestyle, we encourage you to be consistent with your "knead" to receive it.
